Online degree program based classless?

A good friend just completed a four-year degree Fron an online university. He plans to be an elementary school teacher. Its title is actually in classroom management and, although it had a lot of courses in management, communication and even comparative religon, there is absolutely nothing in Psych, sociology, psychology or not sign anything either in the development and implementation of programs, or any other observation in the classroom and teach students. He is preparing to launch a line master of the school and say they can get everything you need really the educational preparation of this level. Is it sound strange?
