How Math online course work?

I have taken online courses before and very well done, but none of them is mathematics. I was ranked above all in the papers that I wrote will not work with math. How can you do the math test with online classes? (Not the kind where you have to go on campus for testing) Do you get credit for their work, but you get a wrong answer and see how they work?

I have taken Math 115 (mathematical models) in line with last semester. We had a few questions each week of the book work and then we had the online test once a week. The test will be set when I saw you had a space issue and to write the answer and work. We also had a forum that had to communicate with other classmates via the keyboard at least three times a week. For questions about the task we had a discussion forum that QAC questions, comments and answer my teacher checked periodically to see if anyone needed help. We also had the opportunity to send our teacher with questions we had. Everything has been done only on the Internet and the only time I had to drive on campus was for the final exam at the end of semester.
